Apple Plugs Critical Holes in OS X

Apple issued the patches, available through its Web site, Thursday. The flaws affect versions 10.3.9 and 10.4.2 of the Mac OS X operating system, as well as related server software.

The security updates apply to ImageIO, Mail, malloc, QuickDraw Manager, QuickTime for Java, Ruby, Safari, SecurityAgent, and securityd.

Thought: I have updated my Mac OS X for two times in one month. Afterall, there is no 100% secure OS.

    Well, unlike MS Windows, the way Macs manage security is far less prone to attacks.
