		<description>After reading this and other sites, I don't see anything *compelling* about ecto or other desktop clients for blogging.  All the services I am aware of already provide a web interface.  Your browser can save the passwords.  What does a desktop client offer to the average blogger?  It can't be much.

(Besides, I keep wondering how many blogs does the average person need?  Sheesh, you'd imagine one was plenty.)</description>
