Mac OS X 10.4.3 Update Released
If I remember correctly, I just installed the Mac OS X update last month. It is about 100MB of download! However, Apple released new update now — Mac OS X 10.4.3 Update.

It is another 97MB download!
My two cents
Apparently, Mac OS X has a lot patches too. Unlike Windows, the Mac OS X is in a package, similar to Windows’ service pack.
I thought Mac OS X is more secure and stable than Windows, therefore it will has less updates. I think I am wrong. Yes, Mac OS X is secure and stable but it still has big system update.

my friend, Apple responds to security holes better and faster than Microsoft. also, OS X takes more precaution when installing new apps by asking for your password. combined, Mac OS X is more secure than Windows. just because there are updates doesn’t mean that the OS is not secure or does not work well.

David: I mean even though Mac OS X works well but it still fixes its bugs.

Hi liew,
I recently upgraded my Tiger to 10.4.3. I realised something is really wrong with the cron script. It runs at 3:15 pm instead of 3:15am.
Anyway idea what’s wrong?
