Hey Folders! - Add Colors to OSX Folder Icons
On Mac OS X Finder, you can label any icon with color label to categorize files and folders. However, it ONLY changes the icon’s text label background color, and leave the folder color as default (blue)… until I discovered Hey Folders!
Hey Folders! is a small free app that do only one thing — add colored folder icons to Apple’s Finder. Instead of a generic icon, labeled folders show up in the appropriate color.
Hey Folders! has no GUI. You need to relaunch Finder after start up it. If you like the colored folder icons, you need to add Hey Folders! to your Startup Items.
