OmniWeb 5.5 - the Fastest Mac Web Browser
According to the benchmark result of Macintalk, OmniWeb 5.5 beta is the fastest web browser for Mac OS X. The other selected browsers are Safari, Firefox, and Camino.
The result suprised me. OmniWeb is a few times faster than other browsers in rendering HTML documents. I tried OmniWeb before but didn’t see the speed different. I think OmniWeb version 5.5 has improved a lot.
OmniWeb is not free web browser. You need to pay $29.95 for a license.
Anyway, you can download OmniWeb 5.5 Sneaky Peeks( preview version). The installer is password protected, you can get the password from Omni Group Forums.
WebKit
I tried to run WebKit but it seems like not compatible with latest Saft 8.3.4.
