Apple is recently calling back million laptop batteries containing cells manufactured by Sony Japan, which may cause overheating problem. The affected batteries were sold from October 2003 through August 2006 for 12-inch iBook G4, 12-inch PowerBook G4 and 15-inch PowerBook G4.

For Windows users, it is odd that the Mac OS X applications(apps) does NOT close. You click on an application window’s red close button at left corner, but the software does not quit! It simply hides the software from OS X desktop. This article try to explain it to you.

Phew! Finally, my iBook is fine now. The Apple Service Centre took two weeks to fix it, the logic board has been replaced.

I will goto Kuala Lumpur (KL) tomorrow to send my sick iBook back to the Apple Centre.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon and does not give me big problem again in the future.

This is a nightmare to me since I bought my Apple iBook. The notebook doesn’t display video no matter how hard I tried!
